For over 20 years, I've worked at the sharp end of the criminal legal sector — building my career on complex cases across Birmingham and Manchester, from organised crime and homicide to fraud and large-scale investigations. In that time, I saw the same problem play out again and again: strong legal teams losing ground not because of weak advocacy, but because they couldn't access the right independent expert quickly enough.

I've sat on the other side of that instruction — overseeing case preparation, instructing expert witnesses and counsel, analysing evidence under pressure, and supporting legal teams through every stage of serious criminal proceedings. I know what a rushed or mismatched expert instruction costs a case, and I know what a credible, courtroom-tested report can do for one.
